Delightful Swedish Dish Cloths

Even more than usual lately, I've been trying to be aware of keeping the trash to a minimum and recycling everything that I can. Our cotton "flour sack" dish towels have been very popular and a customer asked if I could get Swedish dishcloths. I never heard of such a thing but one of my fine American made companies had a wonderful selection. A Swedish dishcloth is an absorbent, durable and reusable cloth that can take the place of paper towels in a lot of instances. Made of cellulose and cotton, it's a stiff little thing with a fun picture on it that softens when wet to clean surfaces without streaks. Durable enough for repeated machine washings, made of earth-friendly materials. And the printed designs are delightful! A customer came in yesterday and bought some for friends and herself for their campers. I just had another customer tell me that she puts them in the microwave for one minute to sanitize them (be sure they are wet and stay with the microwave, just in case!)
